Join our dynamic team as an Occupational Therapist, where you will deliver high-quality care to patients in Johannesburg. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' functional abilities and health status.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient goals.
• Facilitate rehabilitation sessions to enhance motor skills and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to provide holistic care.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans and home exercises.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Support community integration programs for patients transitioning back to everyday life.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy
• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in rehabilitation

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS)

Languages

• English: Fluent
