We are seeking a skilled Tax Consultant to join our dynamic team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have robust experience in tax compliance, planning, and strategy formulation. You will be responsible for advising clients on tax regulations, preparing tax returns, and ensuring compliance with related laws. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential for this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform tax research and prepare detailed reports for clients.
• Assist clients with tax compliance and upcoming deadlines.
• Identify tax planning opportunities for business clients.
• Participate in tax seminars and workshops to stay updated.
• Review and finalize tax returns prior to submission.
• Engage in client meetings to discuss tax strategies.
• Document and resolve discrepancies in tax filings.
• Ensure confidentiality of client information.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Taxation
• Master's degree in Taxation is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of practical experience in taxation or relevant financial roles

Technical Skills

• Tax Legislation Knowledge

Certifications

• Registered Tax Practitioner
• Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) is beneficial
