Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Data Scientist to join our Johannesburg office. This role involves analyzing complex data sets to develop data-driven solutions, utilizing machine learning algorithms to enhance business processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to identify data opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in cross-functional collaboration to drive data initiatives.
• Identify key metrics and build dashboards to measure success.
• Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends and patterns.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented models and iterate as needed.
• Mentor junior data analysts in data science best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Data Science is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in a data science role
