Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description

As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products. You will work closely with developers and product managers to create and execute tests, identify bugs, and improve existing processes to enhance software reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts for software applications.
• Collaborate with product and development teams for test strategy.
• Identify patterns in defects to provide insights for improvement.
• Maintain testing documentation and reports.
• Ensure all software products meet quality standards before release.
• Participate in daily stand-up meetings with the development team.
• Provide training and mentorship to junior QA staff.
• Actively participate in sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Continuously evaluate testing methodologies for improvements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB) are preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in software testing or quality assurance
