Job Description

The Tinning Equipment Tender will be responsible for overseeing the operation of tinning equipment, ensuring optimal production output and quality control. You will set up and maintain machinery, monitor production processes, and assist with troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of tinning equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and address any production bottlenecks promptly.
• Documentation of production metrics and quality checks.
• Liaise with the team for continuous improvement in operations.
• Assist in training staff on equipment handling and safety procedures.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Trade Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

• Good communication skills
• Interpersonal skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with tinning equipment specifically: Hands-on experience with the operation and maintenance of tinning machinery.
• Experience working with PLCs and other automation systems: Familiarity with automation systems used in manufacturing processes.
