Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our construction projects, steering them from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of project life cycles and is well-versed in team management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. Our projects range from residential buildings to commercial developments, and you will be pivotal in ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors throughout the project lifecycle.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and ensure compliance with legal requirements.
• Manage risks and resolve issues that may arise during the project.
• Prepare and present project updates to stakeholders and management.
• Facilitate communication between team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Ensure all safety protocols and quality standards are upheld on construction sites.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management or related field

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in construction project management and team leadership

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Risk Assessment Techniques

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Lean Six Sigma certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational
