Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our construction projects, steering them from conception through to completion. The ideal candidate possesses a solid understanding of project life cycles and is well-versed in team management, budgeting, and stakeholder engagement. Our projects range from residential buildings to commercial developments, and you will be pivotal in ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget constraints.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kick-off meetings to align team objectives.
• Manage project changes and assess their impact on scope, timeline, and budget.
• Facilitate stakeholders’ engagement and satisfy their informational needs.
• Supervise project delivery and finalize project close-out reports.
• Train and mentor junior project coordinators and team members.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Construction Management or related field

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in construction project management and team leadership

Technical Skills

• Building Information Modelling (BIM)
• Risk Assessment Techniques

Soft Skills

• Negotiation
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM)
• Lean Six Sigma certification

Languages

• Afrikaans: Conversational

• Experience with cost estimation and management techniques: Hands-on experience in budget planning and cost control throughout project lifecycles.
