Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Mental Health Services Group in East London. In this role, you will provide psychological assessments, individual therapy, and group therapy sessions to support mental health recovery. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in clinical psychology with a passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations.
  • Lead therapy groups for various therapeutic modalities.
  • Tailor treatment strategies according to client feedback and progress.
  • Document all client interactions and maintain confidentiality.
  • Engage with a diverse client population.
  • Develop community programs to promote mental well-being.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and interns.
  • Advocate for clients' needs within the healthcare system.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or equivalent
  • HPCSA registration is mandatory
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in a mental health environment
