Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Desktop Support Analyst to join our Stellenbosch office. This role involves providing technical support to our users, ensuring that their IT equipment and systems operate smoothly. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of desktop applications, hardware troubleshooting, and network configurations.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with users to understand their technical issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Configure and deploy desktop systems and peripherals.
  • Record incidents and requests accurately in the IT service desk system.
  • Perform hardware upgrades and replacements as required.
  • Monitor and maintain IT inventory and equipment.
  • Respond to user inquiries and provide guidance on IT policies.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to improve system performance.
  • Assist with training sessions on new software and hardware.
  • Manage user accounts and permissions.
  • Conduct routine checks on system performance and security.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role with emphasis on customer support
