Structural Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a Structural Engineer who is passionate about creating innovative structures. As part of our East London team, you’ll work collaboratively to ensure our projects adhere to all regulations while pushing the boundaries of design and functionality.

Responsibilities

• Draft structural calculations and specifications.
• Work closely with the design team to enhance project outcomes.
• Utilize advanced software tools for structural simulations.
• Maintain records of project progress and updates.
• Identify potential engineering challenges and propose solutions.
• Participate in risk assessments and safety evaluations.
• Provide thorough oversight on construction drawings and changes.
• Regularly liaise with clients to ensure expectations are met.
• Contribute to the development of engineering best practices.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng) registration is highly desirable

Experience

• 5 or more years of experience in structural projects

Technical Skills

• Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Software
• Revit

Certifications

• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr. Eng)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
