Join our Pretoria team as an Industrial Engineer and take on a pivotal role in enhancing operational workflows. You will be responsible for assessing production processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing effective solutions. This position requires a detail-oriented and proactive engineer dedicated to achieving excellence in manufacturing and production.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis to streamline operations and increase productivity.
• Utilize Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to eliminate waste and improve efficiency.
• Prepare cost-benefit analyses for proposed projects.
• Engage with stakeholders to assess operational needs and requirements.
• Review and revise engineering specifications and standards.
• Lead Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
• Document processes and create training materials for team members.
• Support the implementation of software solutions for manufacturing applications.
• Evaluate supplier performance and recommend improvements.
• Drive initiatives to improve workplace safety and employee engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing environment
