Manufacturing Engineer

Job Description

We're on the lookout for an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join our team in Cape Town. This role requires a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control, and process improvement. You will be responsible for optimizing production and enhancing efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Create manufacturing workflow plans and timelines.
• Evaluate and recommend tooling and equipment for production.
• Lead root cause analysis on quality issues.
• Develop training programs for production staff.
• Prepare reports on production metrics and project updates.
• Assist in budget planning and resource allocation.
• Work with R&D to support new product innovation.
• Conduct audits to ensure adherence to quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing role
