Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from conception to completion. You will collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that our projects meet quality standards and are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop structural engineering plans for various infrastructure projects.
• Evaluate project feasibility and perform cost analysis.
• Ensure project designs comply with legal and environmental regulations.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to integrate designs effectively.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Prepare bid documents and assist in the selection of contractors.
• Conduct training sessions on safety practices and engineering standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Postgraduate qualifications are a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure projects.
