Job Description

We seek a dedicated and detail-oriented Transportation Planner to join our dynamic team in Stellenbosch. The successful candidate will focus on developing and implementing transportation plans that enhance mobility and accessibility in urban areas.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current transportation trends and develop innovative solutions.
• Work closely with engineers and architects to integrate transportation needs into urban development projects.
• Prepare funding proposals and grant applications to secure project funding.
• Conduct traffic studies and surveys to identify areas of improvement.
• Assist in the development of sustainable transport practices.
• Facilitate workshops and information sessions to engage public input.
• Prepare estimates and budgets for transportation projects.
• Ensure transportation projects align with environmental and sustainability goals.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation Planning, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering or a related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in transportation planning or related field
