Dress Cutter

Job Description

The Dress Cutter will be responsible for accurately cutting fabric according to patterns, ensuring high-quality production. You will be working closely with our design and production teams to meet deadlines and maintain production standards.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the sharpness and quality of cutting tools.
• Support the design and production team with fabric layout.
• Participate in weekly production meetings to discuss progress.
• Identify and suggest improvements in the cutting process.
• Document any issues related to cutting and relay them promptly.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in sewing or textile design preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in the textile or fashion industry

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of different types of fabrics and their properties
• Experience with garment industry machines

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in pattern making: Understanding of how to create patterns can enhance the cutting process.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously: Flexibility in managing various aspects of the work.
