Job Description

We are currently seeking a talented Civil Engineer to join our Bloemfontein team. The successful candidate will be involved in designing, developing, and overseeing construction projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. This role requires a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills to meet project objectives efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed plans and specifications for civil engineering projects.
• Coordinate with environmental consultants and agencies for project approvals.
• Supervise site activities and manage project teams.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers.
• Support the preparation of project bids and proposals.
• Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments.
• Implement quality control procedures during project implementation.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with a focus on infrastructure projects

• AutoCAD
• Microsoft Project
• Geotechnical Analysis

Soft Skills

• Negotiation Skills

Certifications

• LEED Accredited Professional
• Traffic Engineering Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Basic
