• Engage with community members for qualitative data collection.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify research needs and objectives.
• Document fieldwork experiences and challenges encountered.
• Utilize software tools for data management and analysis.
• Facilitate workshops and training sessions for field staff.
• Conduct risk assessments prior to field activities.
• Review literature to inform research design and methodologies.
• Develop and maintain databases for research tracking.
• Ensure quality control of data collected in the field.
• Foster relationships with local organizations and partners.

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Social Science, or related field
• Master's degree is preferred
• Qualitative Research Methods Proficient in qualitative research methods including interviews and focus groups.
• Quantitative Analysis Skilled in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
• Field Equipment Usage Experienced in using various field research equipment.
• Communication Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Teamwork Ability to work collaboratively in diverse teams.
• Adaptability Ability to adapt to changing environments and work demands.
• Certified Research Analyst (CRA)
• Field Research Certificate
• English (Fluent)
• Afrikaans (Conversational)

• Experience with project management: Ability to manage research projects from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with statistical software: Experience using R or SPSS for data analysis.
