Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Geologist to join our growing team in Durban. You will play a key role in conducting field investigations, collecting samples, and performing geological mapping. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in geoscience and a commitment to promoting sustainable environmental practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field studies and geological surveys to gather data.
• Analyze geological samples and interpret laboratory results.
• Develop geotechnical reports to assist in project development.
• Collaborate with environmental scientists to assess land use.
• Utilize geographic information systems (GIS) for mapping.
• Provide expert geological advice on construction projects.
• Monitor environmental impact and compliance with regulations.
• Present findings to stakeholders and prepare technical documents.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Geology or related field
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience in geological research or environmental sciences
