Job Description

We are on the lookout for an IT Support Technician based in Durban who is passionate about technology and eager to resolve technical issues. In this role, you will be responsible for providing support to users, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining IT systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance on IT systems and hardware.
  • Assist in developing and implementing IT policies.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on various projects.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to senior technicians.
  • Participate in on-call support rotation as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to enhance user experience.

Requirements

Education
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a technical support role

  • Linux OS
  • Remote Support Tools

Certifications
  • ITIL Foundation
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
Languages
  • English: Fluent
