Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are on the hunt for a Warehouse Manager to oversee our Cape Town operations. Your role will be pivotal in managing daily warehouse activities, optimizing logistics processes, and ensuring that safety and efficiency standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all warehouse operations are conducted in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, ensuring loading and unloading is completed safely.
• Analyze warehouse data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Coordinate with the sales team to forecast demand and adjust inventory levels.
• Participate in budget planning and cost control initiatives.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders to enhance operational effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Logistics or Business Administration is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of direct experience in warehouse management

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Supply Chain Management

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Conflict Resolution

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Xhosa: Basic

Advantageous

• Lean or Six Sigma Certification: Keen understanding of process improvement methodologies.
• Training in Safety Standards: Knowledge of safety regulations and training in workplace safety.
