Job Description

In the role of a Cold Strip Roller, you will operate and maintain machines that roll steel strips to specific thicknesses and widths. This position requires attention to detail, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cold rolling mills according to specified processes.
• Inspect products regularly during production to meet quality standards.
• Adjust equipment settings to ensure precision in production.
• Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Organize production workflows for optimal efficiency.
• Keep production data up-to-date and accurately logged.
• Work alongside other team members to ensure production targets are met.
• Assist in training new operators and sharing best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Education

• Matric Certificate
• Technical Certificate or Diploma in Engineering or Manufacturing

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience operating Cold Rolling Mill machines
