Electrical Engineer

Job Description

We are in search of a talented Electrical Engineer to join our Durban team. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems for various projects. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize electrical systems for energy efficiency and sustainability.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
• Review technical drawings and specifications for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions.
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering processes.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• PhD in a relevant discipline is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on renewable energy
