Electrical Engineer

Job Description

As an Electrical Engineer, you'll be crucial in driving our projects to success. You will apply your technical expertise to solve complex electrical challenges, work closely with our project teams, and ensure innovative solutions that align with our clients' needs.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems, low and high voltage installations.
• Conduct feasibility studies and assessments to determine project viability.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to deliver on project timelines and objectives.
• Ensure all designs are compliant with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
• Prepare technical documentation including specifications, reports and design manuals.
• Conduct site inspections and oversee installation processes.
• Participate in training junior engineers and support staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Masters's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering

• Registered with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA)
