Interior Designer

Dynamic Interiors Ltd. is seeking an experienced interior designer to join our creative team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a flair for innovative design and a passion for transforming spaces. You'll work closely with clients to understand their needs and bring their visions to life.

Responsibilities

• Lead design projects from conception to completion.
• Collaborate with a team of designers, architects, and contractors.
• Provide expert advice on sustainable and eco-friendly design options.
• Manage and mentor junior designers and interns.
• Create visualizations to help clients understand complex design concepts.
• Assist with the selection of finishes and fixtures.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders to gather feedback and make adjustments.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field
• Professional Certification in Interior Design is a plus

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in residential and commercial design

Technical Skills

• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
• Project Management Software (e.g., Trello, Asana)

Soft Skills

• Team Leadership
• Client Relationship Management

Certifications

• Certified Interior Designer (CID)
• Project Management Professional (PMP)

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience in Commercial Interior Design Projects: Background in designing commercial spaces such as offices, retail, and hospitality.
• Technical Skills in Graphic Design: Advanced skills in graphic design to enhance presentations.
