We are on the lookout for a detail-oriented Software Tester to join our team based in Cape Town. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of our software products by designing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and working collaboratively with developers. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and analyze software systems for performance issues and bugs.
• Assist in the development of quality assurance standards and processes.
• Ensure compliance with software quality assurance best practices.
• Train and mentor junior testers and new team members.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to the overall project strategy.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of relevant work experience in software testing

Technical Skills

• Bug Tracking Tools
• Performance Testing

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Adaptability

Certifications

• Certified Agile Tester (CAT)
• CSTE Certified Software Tester

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Performance Testing Tools: Knowledge of tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner for performance testing.
• Knowledge of SQL: Ability to write SQL queries for database testing.
