Escrow Agent

Job Description

As an Escrow Agent, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining escrow accounts, ensuring compliance with legislation, and providing excellent customer service. You will act as a trusted intermediary, holding funds and documents until the conditions of the transaction are met.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and process payment transactions to ensure deadlines are met.
• Audit escrow account activities to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Develop and implement policies for escrow account management.
• Train junior staff on escrow practices and compliance matters.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to uphold standards.
• Draft reports of account activity for stakeholders.
• Attend meetings with clients to discuss escrow services.
• Manage client inquiries and follow up as required.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or similar
• Professional certification in escrow management is advantageous

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in escrow services or similar role
