Automatic Teller Machine Servicer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Automatic Teller Machine (ATM) Servicer to maintain and repair ATMs at various locations. The ideal candidate should have excellent technical knowledge and experience in troubleshooting and resolving ATM-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance checks on ATMs to reduce downtime.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback on ATM performance.
• Assist in the installation of ATM networking and electronic systems.
• Report on site accessibility issues that may affect service delivery.
• Work with third-party vendors for advanced repairs.
• Participate in training sessions on new ATM technologies.
• Develop and maintain a service schedule for all ATMs in your area.
• Audit service logs to ensure quality compliance of work performed.
• Coordinate with the customer support team to resolve user issues promptly.
• Monitor stock of ATM maintenance supplies and tools.

Requirements

Education

• Matric (Grade 12) or equivalent
• Technical certification or diploma in a related field (e.g., Electronics, IT)

Experience

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in servicing ATMs or similar electronic systems.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of electronic and mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools.

Soft Skills

• Ability to work independently.
• Organizational skills.

Certifications

• Relevant safety and security training certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Knowledge of banking regulations related to ATMs.: Awareness of compliance standards pertinent to ATM operations.
• Experience in cash management processes.: Understanding of cash logistics and management in relation to ATMs.
