Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer to contribute to our distinguished engineering projects in Johannesburg. You will manage the engineering aspects of various projects, working closely with contractors and local authorities to deliver high-quality solutions that meet client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop infrastructure projects in compliance with local codes.
• Work with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project success.
• Prepare and present project proposals to stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Assist in the development of project budgets and timelines.
• Train and mentor junior staff on engineering practices and procedures.
• Participate in the review and update of engineering standards.
• Facilitate project meetings to communicate updates and address challenges.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Civil Engineering is an advantage
• PhD in a related field is a plus

• 7+ years of relevant experience
