We are seeking a passionate Environmental Engineer to join our team in Johannesburg. This role involves assessing environmental impact, developing sustainable solutions, and collaborating with various stakeholders to protect and improve our environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental risk assessments and develop risk management plans.
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to design sustainable infrastructure.
• Manage multiple projects while ensuring they meet sustainability criteria.
• Facilitate workshops and seminars to educate clients on environmental concerns.
• Conduct research on new environmental technologies and practices.
• Maintain relationships with local communities and stakeholders.
• Support the development of corporate social responsibility initiatives.
• Track project budgets and timelines to ensure successful delivery.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Master's degree in a relevant field is a plus

Experience

• 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or engineering

• Environmental Modelling

Certifications

• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Zulu: Basic
