Job Description

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer in Johannesburg who will ensure optimal performance and reliability of our systems. The successful candidate will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure while collaborating closely with developers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure system reliability and uptime through proactive monitoring.
  • Collaborate with developers to establish best practices for operational excellence.
  • Develop disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
  • Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in current processes.
  • Implement logging and monitoring necessary to support proactive systems.
  • Conduct regular audits of deployed systems to enforce security best practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in site reliability engineering or similar fields.
