Job Description

As a Technical Testing Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software applications through rigorous testing. You will collaborate with development teams to create and execute test plans and cases, ensuring all defects are tracked and resolved. Your keen eye for detail will help maintain our high standards of quality.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated tests for new features.
• Perform API testing and validate integrations with third-party services.
• Monitor debugging processes and follow up on defect resolution.
• Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
• Assist QA team members in troubleshooting and resolving identified issues.
• Encourage adherence to testing best practices and standards.
• Record and track defects using bug tracking tools like Jira.
• Review and update testing documentation as necessary.
• Engage in team meetings to discuss testing challenges and solutions.
• Analyze user feedback to identify areas for improvement in applications.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Certification in software testing (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level) is preferred

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on automated testing.
