Job Description

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in taxation to provide tailored advice and services to our diverse clientele. Your responsibilities will include tax planning, compliance checks, and developing strategies to minimize tax liabilities. This position requires a proactive approach and the ability to stay updated with ongoing changes in tax legislation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth client consultations to assess tax situations.
• Identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies.
• Prepare written communications regarding tax obligations.
• Review and enhance internal processes for tax compliance.
• Develop tax-related presentations for client education.
• Coordinate with external auditors regarding tax matters.
• Monitor legislative changes impacting client tax responsibilities.
• Act as a point of contact for client queries.
• Provide mentorship to junior consultants and interns.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce or related field
• Professional certification like CA(SA) or similar is an advantage

Experience

• 4+ years of working in a tax consultancy
