Job Description

We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in conducting environmental assessments, developing sustainable solutions, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with government authorities and regulatory agencies on environmental matters.
• Assist in the procurement of environmental permits and licenses.
• Participate in public engagement processes related to environmental concerns.
• Analyze data to evaluate project outcomes and recommend improvements.
• Foster a culture of environmental awareness among employees and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into business practices.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in environmental management or sustainability practices
