We are looking for an Environmental Engineer to join our team in East London. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and experience in conducting environmental assessments, developing sustainable solutions, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to promote environmental sustainability.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategies for reducing environmental impacts associated with projects.
• Collaborate with local communities to promote sustainability initiatives.
• Assess and manage environmental risk factors in project planning.
• Lead training sessions for staff on environmental best practices.
• Conduct research on emerging environmental technologies and methodologies.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of environmental compliance records.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Engineering
• Postgraduate qualification is preferable

Experience

• 5+ years in environmental management or sustainability practices
