Job Description

As a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator, you will play a vital role in our manufacturing processes, ensuring quality and consistency in metal production through effective furnace operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor furnace conditions and adjust settings as required to maintain desired outputs.
  • Perform routine checks and maintenance on furnace equipment and tools.
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of processes and operations within the department.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and protocols.
  • Participate in team meetings and offer suggestions for process improvements.
  • Maintain a high standard of workplace cleanliness and order.
  • Support the team during emergency situations ensuring safety protocols are followed.
  • Document and report on furnace performance metrics for management review.

Requirements

Education
  • Technical Certificate in Metallurgy or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in metal-refining furnaces
