Job Description

The Vocational Psychologist will administer and interpret vocational assessments, providing in-depth advice on career options and strategies. This role involves collaborating with clients to support their career development objectives and crafting personalized development plans.

Responsibilities

• Conduct vocational assessments to determine client capabilities and career pathways.
• Create tailored career plans and guide clients through job application processes.
• Facilitate group sessions to educate clients on career development.
• Network with employers to locate job opportunities for clients.
• Monitor and evaluate clients’ progress within their careers.
• Document and report on the effectiveness of vocational programs.
• Engage in research and analysis to support vocational practices.
• Train and mentor junior psychologists or support staff.
• Foster relationships with community organizations for client referrals.
• Utilize technology and software to manage client cases efficiently.

Requirements

Education

• Doctoral degree in vocational psychology or a related field preferred

Experience

• Experience with diverse populations, including individuals with disabilities.
