Armored Truck Driver

Job Description

The Armored Truck Driver will be responsible for safely transporting valuable goods and cash from one location to another. This position requires a high level of integrity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure in a secure and often high-stakes environment.

Responsibilities

• Transport cash and valuables securely to various locations.
• Adhere to strict security protocols during transport.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records of all assets transported.
• Perform routine checks on the armored vehicle before each trip.
• Demonstrate situational awareness and proactive risk management.
• Assist with training new team members on safety protocols.
• Engage with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support the Operations Manager in logistical planning and execution.
• Document and report any discrepancies or incidents promptly.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum of a matric certificate or equivalent qualification

Experience

• Experience in cash handling or security is an advantage.

Technical Skills

• Professional driving
• Safety protocols

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Ability to work under pressure

Certifications

• Military or law enforcement experience is advantageous

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience with cash-in-transit operations: Familiarity with protocols for handling cash securely.
