Job Description

The Surgical Instruments Inspector will ensure surgical instruments are meticulously inspected and adhere to strict quality standards. This role is pivotal in maintaining the integrity of medical devices by identifying and documenting any defects or non-conformities.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough inspections of surgical instruments to ensure they meet specifications.
• Oversee the maintenance of inspection tools and calibrate as needed.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports for quality assurance audits.
• Participate in regular training for up-to-date compliance with standards.
• Engage in problem-solving discussions regarding quality discrepancies.
• Work closely with the Quality Control Manager to uphold best practices.
• Foster an environment of quality consciousness throughout the production team.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in quality control or inspection preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or inspection

Technical Skills

• Attention to detail
• Knowledge of quality control processes

• Communication skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with ISO 13485: Familiarity with ISO 13485 standards for quality management.
• Knowledge of FDA regulations: Understanding of FDA regulations impacting medical devices.
• Experience with SAP: Experience using SAP or other ERP systems is advantageous.
