Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Technician to join our Johannesburg team. In this role, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with network maintenance. You will work closely with our IT team to ensure that all support requests are resolved promptly and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to and log all IT help desk requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
  • Manage inventory of IT hardware and software.
  • Support the installation of new hardware and software upgrades as needed.
  • Perform routine maintenance on servers and network equipment.
  • Assist in developing training materials for staff on new technologies.
  • Collaborate with vendors for repairs and services when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures.

Requirements

Education
  • Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in IT support
