Physiotherapist

Job Description

As a Physiotherapist at our Pretoria facility, you'll focus on assessing, planning, and implementing treatment strategies to enhance mobility and alleviate pain for our patients. We're looking for someone who enjoys working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments and regular evaluations to track patient progress.
• Implement treatment strategies and modify as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Engage with clients in therapeutic exercises, facilitating their rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate records of treatments and patient interactions.
• Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals regarding patient care.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to case reviews.
• Promote health and wellbeing in the community through workshops and outreach programs.

Requirements

Education

• BSc in Physiotherapy
• Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA)

Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting

• Manual Therapy
• Exercise Prescription

Certifications

• CPR Certification
• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Afrikaans: Conversational

Advantageous

• Experience with sports injuries: Knowledgeable in assessment and treatment of sports-related injuries.
