Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and materials.
• Conduct assessments and report on student progress.
• Organize extracurricular activities related to science education.
• Engage in professional development to enhance teaching effectiveness.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education or Science
• Higher qualifications in Education are an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 3 years classroom teaching experience

Certifications

• Certified Teacher in South Africa
• CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum: Background in teaching the IB Chemistry curriculum is desirable.
• Involvement in school science fairs: Participation and guidance in organizing science fairs or events.
