Job Description

We are on the lookout for an ambitious Structural Engineer in Johannesburg who is passionate about the design and construction of durable and efficient structures. Your role will involve conducting structural assessments, creating detailed designs, and ensuring project compliance with local and national codes.

Responsibilities

• Construct detailed engineering calculations for project planning.
• Lead project meetings to facilitate clear communication among team members.
• Ensure that safety standards and protocols are maintained on-site.
• Provide solutions during construction difficulties to avoid delays.
• Compile and present engineering documentation for approval.
• Evaluate suppliers and contractors for project compatibility.
• Review compliance with environmental and geotechnical standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in structural analysis and design

Technical Skills

• Structural Analysis Software
• Microsoft Office Suite

Certifications

• Chartered Engineer
• Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous
