Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic Social Media Manager to join our team in Cape Town. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting engaging content, managing social media campaigns, and analysing performance metrics. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creativity and a deep understanding of social media trends and strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with graphic designers to produce compelling visuals for social media.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns to boost engagement.
  • Analyze market trends to identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor audience reactions and engagement data to refine strategies.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop new campaign ideas.
  • Establish relationships with key influencers in the industry.
  • Train and mentor junior social media staff as needed.
  • Present reports on social media performance to senior management.
  • Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and brand narrative.
  • Ensure legal compliance regarding social media advertising and promotions.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field

  • 4+ years of experience in managing social media channels
