Job Description

The Shipping and Receiving Coordinator plays a critical role in ensuring the timely and accurate management of goods in our warehouse. This dynamic position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage inventory efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Manage shipping and receiving processes including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
  • Implement and maintain effective inventory management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve logistics operations.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance in all shipping and receiving activities.
  • Conduct regular audits of warehouse inventory and processes.
  • Drive initiatives for continuous improvement in warehouse efficiency.
  • Handle customer inquiries related to shipping and delivery issues.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security regulations.
  • Assist in managing hazardous materials as per legal requirements.
  • Prepare reports on delivery performance and shipment accuracy.

Requirements

Education
  • Grade 12 certificate or equivalent
  • Degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years' experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
