Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive dental examinations and diagnostics.

• Carry out dental procedures, including fillings, extractions, and crowns.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene for better health outcomes.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
• Collaborate with dental hygienists and assistants to ensure quality care.
• Participate in continuing education to stay current with dental practices.
• Seek feedback for improving service delivery.
• Ensure all equipment and materials are sterilized and maintained properly.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Dentistry
• Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience post-graduation

• Registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa
