We are seeking a qualified Chemical Engineer to join our growing team in Durban. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing chemical processes, ensuring safety and sustainability in all operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance our product line.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and troubleshoot chemical processes.
• Lead projects focusing on process improvement and cost reduction.
• Implement best practices for safety and sustainability.
• Design and conduct experiments to test new products.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers in the team.
• Participate in regulatory audits and inspections.
• Liaise with suppliers and clients to understand project requirements.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
• Master's degree is advantageous

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in chemical engineering or related field
