Job Description

Looking for a Veterinarian in Johannesburg with a passion for animal care and welfare. You'll work closely with our veterinary team to diagnose and treat various conditions, perform surgeries, and promote preventive healthcare, ensuring the health and happiness of animals in our community.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and emergency assessments of animals.
  • Develop treatment plans and alternative therapies.
  • Engage with clients to discuss health issues and treatment options.
  • Manage anesthesia during surgical procedures.
  • Assist in developing preventive care plans.
  • Conduct laboratory tests and analyze results.
  • Mentor and train junior staff and students.
  • Assist in inventory management and ordering of supplies.
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities.
  • Contribute to the clinic's marketing and community engagement efforts.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science or related field
  • Master's in Veterinary Medicine is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in veterinary practice
