Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Construction Manager to oversee and ensure successful delivery of construction projects in Pretoria. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing on-site operations, liaising with clients and subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning sessions and establish timelines.
• Supervise all phases of construction activities on-site.
• Evaluate and report on project performance and profitability.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of teamwork and cooperation among staff.
• Manage site staff and subcontractor performance efficiently.
• Engage in conflict resolution among project participants.
• Review and approve construction schedules and costs.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Project Management certification preferred

Experience

• 8+ years of experience in the construction industry; leadership experience preferred
