Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to lead cloud initiatives in our Port Elizabeth office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in cloud architecture, DevOps practices, and excellent problem-solving skills to drive our cloud solutions forward.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement cloud strategies that align with business objectives.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy robust cloud solutions.
• Evaluate and optimize existing cloud services for performance and cost-efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with security standards in cloud environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud-related issues as they arise.
• Contribute to the design and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
• Mentor junior team members and lead technical discussions.
• Engage with clients to gather requirements and deliver tailored cloud solutions.
• Perform risk analysis and recommend mitigation strategies for cloud operations.
• Create detailed documentation of technical architectures and processes.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field
• Cloud certifications from AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud are highly preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture and solutions delivery
