Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our logistics operations in Durban. In this role, you will handle the day-to-day management of warehouse activities, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership abilities and an understanding of inventory management systems.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee all aspects of warehouse management operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Supervise staff training and ensure adherence to operational procedures.
• Forecast inventory needs and manage stock replenishment.
• Improve processes to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
• Collaborate with other departments to align warehouse operations with company objectives.
• Introduce technology solutions to improve workflow.
• Monitor key performance indicators and report findings to senior management.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment for all employees.

Requirements

Education

• Diploma in Logistics or Supply Chain Management

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in a warehouse supervisory role
