As a Tax Consultant at our Durban office, you will play a crucial role in advising clients on tax compliance, planning, and strategies. You will be responsible for preparing tax returns and conducting thorough reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with local tax regulations. Your expertise will help clients navigate the complexities of tax legislation, ultimately helping them to minimize their tax liabilities while maximizing refunds.

Responsibilities

• Develop tax strategies in line with clients’ financial objectives.
• Review and process tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
• Educate clients about tax benefits and obligations.
• Provide ongoing support and consultation regarding tax-related inquiries.
• Work with external authorities when necessary.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.

• Document work thoroughly and maintain client confidentiality.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Relevant tax certifications (e.g., SAIT, CTA) preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in tax consulting or related field
