Tax Specialist

Job Description

We are on the lookout for a Tax Specialist to manage tax compliance and advisory services for our clients. In this role, you will assist in preparing tax returns, conducting tax research, and ensuring compliance with tax laws. You'll work closely with clients to meet their needs effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Support clients with tax planning and compliance.
• Draft correspondence with tax authorities.
• Conduct training sessions for clients on tax best practices.
• Evaluate the tax implications of financial decisions.
• Act as a liaison between clients and tax authorities.
• Implement efficient tax preparation processes.
• Review new tax software solutions for firm efficiency.
• Prepare tax implications analysis for mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Taxation
• Professional qualification such as CTA is a plus

Experience

• At least 4 years' experience in a tax advisory role

• Afrikaans: Conversational
